Resilience Quotient is the New Goal

01-May-2013

Three years ago Harvard Business School said RQ (Resilience Quotient) was more important than IQ (Intelligence quotient) or EQ (emotional quotient).

They defined the Resilient Quotient, RQ as:

Hope built on Reality.
Meaningfulness of life.
Innovative survival.

Now the Resilient Quotient is redefined as:

1.  Something to look forward to – HOPE (meaning)

2.  Role Models (who have both skills/talent and morals)

3.  Affirmation (Someone who believes in you)

4.  Focus on strengths (always play to your strengths)

5.  Physical Exercise (as it releases endorphin’s)

Every Dad as a parent /family coach needs to make sure his children have great RQ.
